Kindergarten News

What a huge year we have had in Kinder in 2021, lockdowns, yard renovations and the need to always be on our toes. But through all this, we have had the constant of smiling faces and such wonderful and understanding families!

Our four year old children have demonstrated such resilience and trust throughout the two years that many have attended Mt Pleasant Kindergarten. They have enjoyed the connections of their peers and been strengthened from having the consistency of their learning environments and teachers through the ups and downs that have faced us all.

We will miss these children, but know that 2022 will bring each of them amazing opportunities and we wish each family a wonderful and safe holiday.

Our Wimbi class has grown and changed so much over the course of the year, their personalities and identities have flourished and Mardi, Jo and I have been blessed to be a part of this experience with them. This class of children has left some memorable moments as they have come to understand the world around them: from asking where the sandpit has gone, discussing how they could hear thunder on the moon over snack time, how one child's 'Dad made burgers at McDonald's when he was little' and how a child's sisters school was 'cancelled because I think it caught fire and burnt down'... well lockdown did feel a bit like that at times I guess!

We are looking forward to having another year to share together in 2022,

we hope you have a wonderful break and manage to find time to connect with family and loved ones.

Have a wonderful festive season everyone, stay safe and enjoy time with family and friends.
