2021 Student Representative Council Certificates

As 2021 draws to a close, I would like to acknowledge the qualities that have been observed in the student leaders at Edenhope College. Unfortunately due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the SRC and Student Voice were limited in their ability to organise school community events. Despite this, the 2021 SRC and Student Voice should be commended upon their ability to continue to put in their best efforts, even at extremely difficult times. 

Throughout the year, whilst not always learning on campus, it was wonderful to see the SRC and Student Voice demonstrate resilience, ongoing positivity, and a willingness to serve others throughout the entirety of the 2021 school year. The growth which these challenging times permitted is evident through these student leaders continuing to put their ideas forward even if lockdowns prevented them from coming to fruition. 

It was very unfortunate that Mollie and Emma’s leadership camp was cut short by COVID-19, however, despite this, these two girls were able to experience significant growth as leaders. This is evident through their continued dedication to the SRC and Student Voice teams where they are dedicated to always wanting the best for all those around them. 

A special mention is to be made to the 2021 College Captains Imogen Hollis and Jackson Dearden for their outstanding leadership of the SRC and Student Voice Meetings. Their organisation skills allowed for the meetings to run smoothly and ensured that all of the SRC and Student Voice leaders represented Edenhope College in a respectful way.

The reheating station has again proved to be a success at lunchtimes. Thank you to the dedicated Student voice and SRC volunteers who provided the opportunity for students to have a hot lunch at Edenhope College.
