Level 3 to 6 students experienced the following units:
As part of the funding to increase Physical Literacy outcomes at school we have purchased equipment for our classroom teachers to use to support physical activity snacks for the students through out the week. Our staff have been nothing short of incredible at getting the students out to move more. These kits will support that.
Silent ball in the classroom is a winner across the 3s and 4s. The 5s and 6s love to get outside for Basketball, Soccer and Gaga ball.
The students also have access to a large abundance of sports equipment for lunch time and recess. It's great to see so many yard games taking place through equipment.
Here is a sneak peak on what some of the funding has gone towards.
The areas we are focusing on to increase engagement towards physical activity are:

Madison H. and Heidi L. did an outstanding job in representing the school at the Woodlands Division Cross Country at Bundoora Park. The intensity and level of competition certainly goes up a gear at a division level and both girls adjusted and participated extremely well. Well done Madison and Heidi!
Our Year 5/6 students selected to take part will play Soccer, AFL and Netball in the first week back of Term 3 in the Greenvale District Winter Sport A League.
The Greenvale District event is on Friday .
On the last day of term, Friday 25th June, we are having an Olympic Day.
Students are to wear their house colours, bring a spare pair of socks and wear suitable runners on the day. Each event is gamified where the students will earn points for their House and experiences different events with various levels.
