State Lawn Bowls Championships

The State Lawn Bowls Championships has changed venues. They will now take place in Sunbury on Wednesday 28th April. This is an undercover venue. We wish our bowlers all the best at this event.

Golf Coaching Sessions

Well done to our Year 5 and 6 children who participated in the golf lessons in the last two weeks of Term 1 with Haydn Garner. It was fantastic to see the improvement in the children. Hayden is offering golf lessons in Term 2 at the Colac Golf Club. Do not hesitate to ask if you need more information.

The Colac Primary Schools Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday 20th May at the Colac Golf Club for the children who qualified for the event. Qualifiers will be informed in the first week of Term 2.

Swimming Lessons

Just a reminder that swimming started today and will continue tomorrow for all the children from Years 1 – 4. This will take place at Heather’s Swim School (Main Street, Elliminyt). On their designated day, children will need to bring along their towel, bathers, goggles – all named and labelled – in a separate bag.

We need parents (who have WWCC – working with children checks) to help us with the swimming program each week. Please indicate on PAM if you can help and on what dates. A big thank you to those parents who have already offered. Please be at school 20 minutes before the classes designated swimming time.

Football Clinics

Our past student and current AFLW Geelong superstar, Darcy Moloney is coming to school this Wednesday 21st April to hold football clinics for the children in Years 1 and 2. Children will need to wear their sports uniform. Children may also like to bring along a football jumper to wear. Football boots are not necessary (ground is still very hard).

Jump Rope For Heart

It is time for everyone to get skipping in preparation for our “Jump Off” day on Friday 11th June. Children will have a chance to show off their skipping skills on this day. This will be the same day as our Sacred Heart Feast Day.
