RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Welcome back from the Term One school holidays and the Easter break that began on Good Friday. We will be continuing in the liturgical season known as the Eastertide. 

This is the period of 50 days, spanning from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday on May 23rd. During Education Week, beginning Monday 24th May, Catholic schools across the nation will be celebrating 200 years of Catholic Education in Australia. The theme for the week is ‘Faith in the Future’ with the central focus on the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christians. There is an array of events and celebrations such as the Feast of the Sacred Heart, Mission Day and the St Vinnies Winter Appeal that will occur throughout this term.
