Interschool Sports Finals

Congratulations to the Blue Tennis Team who won the District final against Heathmont East last Friday.  They all played very well and displayed excellent sportsmanship during the competition.

Next Term, we start our Winter Competition on Friday 7th May, so we have the first two weeks for training and internal competition against our pools.  We do, once again, require parental assistance with some of the teams.  At this point we need someone to help us with supervising one of the Soccer teams, 2 x Girls Softball Teams ( Modified Games), Tennis Team, Girls Netball Team and Beginners Netball.  If there are any parents who are available to commit the hour to supervising these teams next term for the 5 weeks that we play, please let us know, we would really appreciate it.

Individual Tennis Trials

On Tuesday, we had two of our boys enter the Individual District Tennis Competition at Yarra  Valley Grammar School.  Angus S and Cooper J both came 3rd in their pool on the day.  Well done boys, great for you to have a go and you did really well.

House Cross Country

Thank you so much to all parents who have volunteered so far to assist on Friday 30th April for the Middle and Senior School House Cross Country competition.  We still need approximately 10 more parents to help out on the different corners so that the kids can run safely around the course.  The 10 Year and Under students will be running a 2km course and the 11 Year and above will be running the 3 km course.

Could parents please hop onto Compass and give their consent to their child so that they can run on the day?  There are 2 attachments on Compass, one of which is the map, the other is the form which you can fill in if you are available to assist.  The yellow line is for the 10 Year and Under and the white line is the extra 1 km loop that the 11/12/13 year old students will run.  Families can run, jog, walk ride a bike through the course during the holidays as it is all outside of the school fence.  It would be great for the students to practise this during the break.
