The end of term 1 and Easter are just around the corner!

Did you know that in France, there is an interesting children story about Easter and church-bells? 

It goes something like this...

On Good Friday the church bells get very sad and they sprout wings and fly off to Rome to visit the Pope. That is why there is no ringing of bells in the churches around France on Good Friday or Easter Saturday

When Easter Sunday comes around the church bells are happy again and they fly back to France. The churches come alive with the ringing of the happy bells and the bells drop chocolates for all children
