ARTISTS OF THE WEEK

Congratulations to Ashton S, Max T and Joshuah L for being artists of the week with their YOLO people. I feel they have really captured the spirit of YOLO Man in their works as they represented their identities through this character. Well done!

DONATIONS PLEASE

If your family still receives a "real" newspaper regularly, please bring along your copies to the art room for recycling and repurposing. Next term we are looking to do some papier-mache, but we'll need more newspapers to make it happen.

I am also looking for donations of old Melways for another possible project next term. Perhaps you still have one knocking about in the back of your car that you no longer use?

I will happily take it off your hands! Or any other old maps would be good too.

Art in the Holidays!

Get along to the NGV to see the Triennial. To the Ian Potter Gallery to see the Australian Impressionists. Further afield, the RONE Exhibition in Geelong is well worth the road trip. For myself, I'm heading up to Bendigo to see the Mary Quant exhibition. I missed being able to visit art spaces last year, and I am determined to make the most of  what is offered to us this year. You should too!!
