Victorian Training Awards

The Victorian Training Awards recognise and honour the outstanding achievements of individuals and organisations in the Victorian TAFE and training sector.

YACVic Vaccine Survey 

With support from the Department of Health, YACVic will be producing resources about the COVID-19 Vaccination program. These will educate and empower young people to make informed decisions about the vaccine.

Nallei Jerring Program

Nallei Jerring Program is a Youth Leadership program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 13 – 15 years old living in Melbourne and Victoria’s West.

 

  • 10-session leadership program
  • Fun and interactive workshops
  • Build friendships, explore culture and identity
  • 13 to 15-years old from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background

Young Leaders Program

The Youth Disability Advocacy Service or YDAS runs the Young Leaders Program.

The  free online leadership program is for young Victorians who identify as:

  • having a disability
  • having a health condition or chronic illness
  • neurodiverse or autistic
  • Deaf, deaf or hard of hearing
  • blind or vision impaired
  • having lived experience of mental health issues.

VCE VET Health Supplementary Advice – New!

The new VCE VET Health Supplementary Advice for teachers provides training and assessment advice for the VCE VET Health program Units 1 to 4. This publication contains advice for developing a range of delivery sequences, learning activities and strategies for exam preparation. It can be used as a resource tool to evaluate delivery and improve knowledge of the health industry.

Takeover Melbourne

Takeover Melbourne creates a powerful platform for young Melburnians to be heard.

High school aged students are invited to share a story about their life and submit it to the Takeover Melbourne Competition. Entries for the 2021 competition open on March 25 and close June 25.
