STEM Centre Update
The STEM Centre continues to grow and take shape. Over the coming weeks the roof will begin to fill in and be completed. We have been incredibly impressed with the forward thinking and planning of Building Engineering who have kept the project rolling along, quickly adapting to any temporary delays in supply issues in one area and working on another. All to ensure we are on track for a grand opening at the end of
the year.
At the end of last term, the Principal team and a select group of students were able to take a tour of the site and walk up into the building, finally getting a feel for just how big the Centre is going to be. We were most impressed by the views students will have between and into the different learning spaces and how visible classes will be from the Dunlop building next door. Wearing hard hats, high vis vests and getting to climb up on the scissor lift was also pretty cool.
