SPORT

Evans has had a great start to 2022 with many of our students representing our school in a variety of sports. There have been several achievements too!

This term, we took a group of students to the Blacktown Zone Swimming Carnival and had 3 students progress to the Sydney West Swimming Carnival. A huge congratulations to Sequoia of Year 12, Alex W of Year 11 and Cooper of Year 7.

During the term, Evans was represented by a number of teams in knockout competitions against other schools. A massive congratulations to the Opens Girls Volleyball Team in defeating Wyndham College and our Opens Girls Netball Team in defeating Cranebrook High School. These teams will be progressing to the next round. 

Evans has also had students selected to play in the Blacktown Zone teams in Gala Days for: 

• Tennis - Cody from Year 11
• Boys Soccer - Arshad and Salam from Year 11
• Boys Basketball - Jordan and James from Year 12 
• Girls Basketball - Ren, Phoenix, Shariza from Year 12 as well as Elle and Misia from Year 11.
