Loyo Elementary says...
‘Thank you St Kevin’s - salamat”
Thank you to all the generous families and staff who donated so many essentials such as hair brushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shavers, deodorants, shampoos, soaps and so much more to support the Loyo community post typhoon destruction. These essential items will support the families with personal care after ‘Typhoon Odette’ destroyed everything for them.
Evelyn (and some of her friends) managed to fill two 100kg balikbayan boxes with all these essentials. These boxes will be sent across to the Philippines before Easter. They will be well received by the Loyo community.
We truly were committed to this project and have all shown how we were able to help Loyo BELIEVE they can work through the challenges they have been faced with, had and continue to have the Loyo community BELONG in our hearts whilst collecting these essential items and help them reBUILD as our yearly theme encourages us to do. SALAMAT!

These activities can be downloaded and printed or just viewed. These worksheets will help the children understand the gospel message for that particular reading.
