Welcome back to Term 2 .
Mother’s Day is around the corner so please if you haven’t already placed an order please try to do so prior to Monday .
Counter sales are back on so if anyone would like to purchase an icypole or a snack please make your way to canteen at lunchtime.
We will endeavour to make all transactions quick to limit the time waiting in the queue. I would like all senior students to be mindful of the Foundation students and also the junior year levels as most of them have not had an opportunity to purchase from canteen before, so they may need a little assistance.
On another note, the Cancer Council have asked if we could be part of a survey regarding food. For anyone who is already on My School Connect you will receive some information to assist with this survey .
For anyone who is thinking of joining My School Connect you can also participate in this survey. Every one who is on My School Connect will have their fees waived for the rest of the year.
This in itself is a great reward .
As we move into cooler weather I will be cooking some new items like baked potato , shepherd’s pie and soups, so be on the lookout for new arrivals to the menu.
As always I do endeavour to ensure everyone gets what they order, but as you know stock is becoming limited still in supermarkets. Sometimes students will receive a substitute (this is usually only the case for drinks or icy poles).
If this happens and the student isn’t happy with the substitution please come and see us in the canteen, we will happily swap.
Finally if anyone needs to change something with their order or anything at all please contact me directly on 0413 047 049. If you use the My School Connect enquiry line, I don’t receive the enquiry till later in the day and then it is far to late to make changes .
Thanks for your ongoing support

***Students who identify themselves as without food will be directed to the school office and the parent(s) will be called to provide a solution.
In dire cases food may be provided on short notice from the canteen and an invoice sent home.
Please help us help your child by making sure their lunch is in their school bag.
Thank you
