One Act Play 2020

Looking back now, at the evening of the One Act Play Festival on Thursday March 12, I can speak for students, staff and parents, in saying how much we appreciate the memory of ten student plays in live performance, with a warm and encouraging live audience filling the Black Box.

Students from all year levels of the Senior School worked together over a five week period to write, produce and perform these short play delights.  The genres of murder mystery and comic satire were popular this year and the audience were genuine in their appreciation of some wonderful comic moments, poking fun at our mobile phone policy and the hair styles of middle aged ladies to name just a couple.

Old Girtonian, Emily Holmes (2012) adjudicated with warmth and enthusiasm for all the student performance work on display.  Congratulations to the best overall production winners, The Fourth Breach, written and directed by Abe Geyer.
