Principal's Report

Dear Parents, Families and Community members,
2020 Prep Transition #1
Today we had the first formal transition session for our 2020 Prep students. Our future Prep students had a fun morning meeting the Prep staff, making new friends and learning all about the Learning Communities at ACS. We welcomed many new and familiar families, and we look forward to building upon these relationships at the next transition session on Thursday 21 November at 12:30pm. Thank you to all the families for navigating the 'Kiss and Drop' zone so well, the children settled very quickly and were able to engage in the activities straight away.
During the transition session our current Prep students spent time with their Grade 6 Buddies. It was great to see our students spending time together reading books and showing care to each other.
School Family Twilight Celebration
Hope you have saved the date for Friday November 22!
