Principal's Report

Dear parents, friends and Father Arsenio,

It is with great sadness I am informing you of the death of one of our parents. Malcolm Craigie died last week after a long illness. His daughter Jess is in grade six. I (amongst others) have been in constant contact with the family and will continue to do whatever we can. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

It was a relief to complete the school review last week, albeit remotely. We will get a report back in approximately four weeks which will help us set direction for the next four years via a school improvement plan. My thanks are extended to all who assisted or participated.

One of the key things we are doing at the moment is forming classes for next year. We will not be asking students for their choice of friends as we cannot meet all requests. This year's teachers will place students with assistance from Ben and Rachel. They will consider the needs of the child, balance of gender and age groups, staff experience and working partners to assist them to do this. Please speak further with your child's teacher if you require further information.

Please don't hesitate to get in contact if you need any assistance over the coming weeks. I like everyone will be awaiting the news this Sunday which hopefully will articulate a way forward to having our students back on site. We will be in touch via Dojo and email once this has been made clear.
