Looking for help from local businesses!

 

Our Year 10 Learning Community Leader, Justin Keenan is chasing some small prizes for an incentive program for the Year 10s in our 2nd Semester.  Anything e.g. small gift vouchers, clothing items, anything really.  The idea behind it is that we are trying to set up a ‘Reward for Effort’ system with some prizes that might encourage our kids!

Looking for copper coins !

Year 9 are looking for any old copper coins you may be willing donate for an upcoming chemistry CAT.  If you have any you are happy to donate, please advise Anni Reid at SCSC via email at: surf.coast.sc@education.vic.gov.au

 

Looking for design magazines !

Our Art department are looking for old magazines that may have a design/home/interior design/fashion focus or creative magazines like Frankie or Peppermint would also be ideal.  Students may bring them straight to Shannon Rose in our Art department, once we return onsite.

2021/2022 Little Nippers

Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club 21/22 Nipper Program is commencing in October and once again, they would like to extend an invitation to the students at our school to participate.

 

This year Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club welcomes the STARFISH NIPPER PROGRAM, this program runs alongside the Nippers Summer Holiday program providing an opportunity for primary, secondary and young adults with disabilities to participate in surf life saving activities with dedicated fully qualified instructors.  More information can be found at http://www.starfishnippers.com.au

Youth Disability Advocacy Service (YDAS) are looking for writers, artists, and other creatives to make content for disabled young people.

This opportunity is for young Victorians, aged 12 to 25 years old, who identify as:

  • having a disability, health condition or chronic illness.
  • neuro diverse or autistic.
  • deaf or hard of hearing.
  • blind or vision impaired.
  • having lived experience of mental health issues.
