Author's Workshop: 

On Thursday, 18 May, Miss Eyre took 12 senior students to a day at the Auckland Writers Festival in the Hunua Room in Aotea Centre, Auckland City. We had a fantastic day being inspired by four authors who told us about their journeys, successes and failures, and what being an author was like. 

We heard from James Russel (NZ), Kirli Saunders (AUS), Paul Adamson (NZ), and Lev Grossman (USA), and we enjoyed all of their humour, stories, and adventures as authors. We loved having our books signed and meeting some of them after their sessions as well.
