Interschool Football News

Over the last couple of weeks, students from Years 7-11 represented Maffra Secondary College in the interschool round of football.

                                                            Yrs 9 & 10 Boys

On Thursday the 4th May, Maffra Secondary College Year 9-10 boys team played off against Catholic College Sale, Lavalla Catholic College and Traralgon College. Throughout the day the boys played hard showing great effort and hunt to win the football however they were unable to secure a win, but where able to kick some nice goals.

Yrs 7 & 8 Boys

On Tuesday the 9th  May both the Year 7 and 8 teams competed in the interschool competition. The Year 7 boys played off against Catholic College Sale, Lavalla Catholic College and Kurnai College, the boys played well thought the day and where able to get a win against Kurnai College.

The Year 8 boys played of against Catholic College Sale and Sale College, the boys also played great thoughout the day and were also able to get a win against Sale College 

                                                              Yrs 9  & 10 Girls

On the 12th May, Year 9 & 10 girls faced off against Catholic College Sale and Lavalla Catholic College in the Inter-school round of football, the girls played well in both games showing some amazing defensive pressure and great tackling skills, unluckily the girls where unable to get a win on the day.
