Chaplaincy 2020
In 2020 there will be some changes to the nature of the Chaplaincy and Wellbeing team (which includes Elona Koop and Sue Chapman). I (Graeme Klix) will be more involved with the Chaplaincy role while still complimenting and working with the Wellbeing team.
Students develop mentally, socially, physically and spiritually which are all important areas of human development. All these areas need our attention, and with the chaplaincy role, I will be involved in a broader range of activity regarding the student’s development and how they relate positively to family, community, school and friendship groups.
The availability of the chaplaincy service is for the student, teacher, family and the communities they relate to. Nurturing the spirituality of our lives can sometimes be neglected and the chaplaincy ministry is available to help people connect, reconnect and inspire to live with purpose, meaning and value.
I am looking forward to the new year and hope that the school community has a wonderful Christmas and holiday time as we remember that God gives us rest from our work.
God bless you all.
