Term 4 in SAKG

Christmas is upon us and to tie in with out Inquiry topic “Protecting our Planet”, our Grade 3/4’s have been thinking of sustainable ways to celebrate and decorate. Using natural and found materials from the school’s gardens, we created our own Christmas tree decorations. We learned that being resourceful and creative is not only good for the planet, it is also fun!

5/6 Students also had a go at making some Christmas decorations. Wreaths were made from twisting branches pruned from an unwanted vine.
