RAID

Year 9 Program

This week in RAID, all year 9 classes had a long day in the city.

We all had to go on our own to the city, most people taking the train. After we arrived, we made our way to the Docklands.  After a successful trip, we went to Glow Golf, a mini golf course in the dark, filled with glowing neon lights. It was a treat just to look around, and the game was fun.

We then went ice skating at O'Brien Icehouse, where they gave us a lesson on how to skate, how to fall, and how to stand up. It was my personal highlight of the day.

The RAID Coordinator, Daniel Ralston, would like to thank students for their enthusiastic participation, punctuality and behaviour while representing the school.

Next fortnight RAID will be at school with normal start and end times. It will actually be a Health and PE day. That faculty had to give up some of their time so that we could run the RAID program, so we are giving them this day in exchange.
