Open Night 2022
On Wednesday 23 March, Doncaster Secondary College welcomed our community onsite for our annual College Open Night. The evening was a great success! We welcomed nearly 400 people from 140 families across 27 different primary schools.
A highlight of the evening was our student-led tours. In groups of 20 people, our students and alumni guided families around the College and provided information and insights into school life at DSC. Several parents provided very positive feedback about the student-led tours and we applaud our students for being great ambassadors.
Around the College, our teachers set up informative displays and were eager to chat with families about their faculties and the learning opportunities available.
As families walked around the school grounds, they could enjoy live performances from our Instrumental Music department and sample choc chip cookies freshly baked by our Year 7 Food Tech students. Well done and thank you to our students for your contribution to the evening's success.
We also thank the ever-reliable & ever-upbeat Manningham United Church volunteers for taking time out of their schedules to cook up a delicious barbeque for our guests.
