On Wednesday 16th March, we had nine swimmers from Year 5 and 6 represent our school and the Ascot Vale District at the Moonee Ponds Division Swimming event. Our swimmers swam in individual races and in team relay events.

Congratulations to all of our swimmers as they swam to the best of their ability. Not only did they compete incredibly well, they all so represented our school with great pride and excellent spirit, supporting and encouraging our own swimmers as well as the swimmers from other schools.

A big thank you to all of the parents who transported and supported our students on the day!

We wish the swimmers who progressed through to the Regional event the best of luck for their swim next week.

We did very well at Divisional Swimming. A few people even went through to regionals, and some came close but didn’t progress.

I think a lot of people came close to the PBs (personal best time) and swam some very fast times. A lot of the swimmers finished first or second in their individual races.

The boys' Medley Relay team came second to PEGS.

I swam okay and went through to the regional event for butterfly.
