Mother's Day stall

We hope you enjoyed your Mother’s Day celebrations as much as the students enjoyed shopping at the Mother's Day Gift Stall. Thank you to the team of helpers who purchased, organised and assisted students on the day.  It was so special being in the energy of the School in full swing again.

Mother's Day breakfast

Mother’s Day Breakfast was celebrated offsite this year at The Rosstown Function room. It was a very enjoyable morning with attendance from ELC to Year 12 students, families and staff.

Congratulations to Chelsea Dickson for winning the Bob Stewart gift voucher worth $250, and to Barbara Anagnostiadis for winning the My Little Tribe Photography package worth $450. I am grateful for the warmth, kindness and generous nature of our community.

SHUS - 5 June

SHUS will be open for sales on Saturday 5 June, 9.00 - 11.00am in Dalton Hall. You do not need an appointment to shop, however consignments will be accepted by appointment. Please book here, to drop off your consignment.

Entertainment books

Entertainment books are available here. Proceeds from books sold through this link come back to Kilvington PFA as fundraising. Thank you to Nadia Seifen for coordinating this for us.

CSRs

We caught up with our CSR team this week to hear about what’s been on, what’s going well and how we might support them reconnecting our community and cohorts … and overwhelmingly, how much fun everyone is having!

A BIG thank you for all they do. Do find time to RSVP, attend an event and enjoy the company of your cohort. For those of us finishing at the end of the year with Year 12 students, we can assure you it’s time well invested and good fun.

Join our new Kilvington craft group

Join us for craft and cakes at our new Kilvington Craft Group on:

  • Sunday 16 May, 1.00 - 4.00pm
  • Sunday 30 May, 1.00 - 4.00pm

At these first two sessions, we'll have some great little sewing projects and kits to help put together, which we hope to be able to sell at future school events.

And if you have ideas for future events or something you'd like to bring along to contribute, please feel free.

All skills and talents welcome - we think it will be a lovely opportunity to hang out with old (and new) friends as well as create beautiful things!

For more information on these sewing sessions, contact Eleri Stephens on 0419 425 805, or elerim@gmail.com. For ideas for future sessions contact Nadine Power on

National Volunteer Week, 17-23 May

Thank you to all our volunteers within KGS and our broader community. Many of us don't think of the time and skills we willingly share as volunteering, but as supporting our community, shaping our environment and having fun.

During the recent uncertainties, my experience is that KGS families, adults and students have contributed more than ever, and I have found their enthusiasm and kindness heart-warming. Their influence is shaping behaviour, and I thank them.
