EISM Athletics Night of Champions

Kilvington was well represented at the EISM Athletics Night of Champions in which the top athletes from all three Divisional Athletics Carnivals compete. In total, we had 49 students give their best effort in this high level track and field event.

There were numerous medallists throughout the afternoon and evening and many more personal bests. The Sport Department is very pleased with the fantastic achievement of our students. The effort, dedication to training and willingness to learn is a credit to them all.

Swimming Victoria Victorian School Associations Competition

Well done to Annie Steele and Liam Molloy who represented our Sport Association, the EISM at the Swimming Victoria Victorian School Associations Competition held at MSAC on Monday 10 May.

This competition features some of the best swimmers across the State, and we are proud to report that Liam placed third in the 14 - 15YO Boys Relay, and Annie placed third in the 12-13YO Girls Relay.

This is a fantastic achievement for both swimmers, and we are immensely proud of their accomplishments!

Senior Girls Soccer Eastern Division Grand Final

Well done to our Senior Girls Soccer team who recently played in the Eastern Division Grand Final at the Venuto Club in Bulleen.

The girls did an amazing job getting to finals after winning the Southern Conference. Unfortunately, the girls came up short in the Grand Final, losing to a very strong Oxley, 1-3.

The team’s skill and spirit was on show throughout the season and the School is proud of their effort.

Congratulations to Charlotte Westaway, Joanne Lee, Kate May, Isabelle Hayes, Bella Dang, Lolly Seligmann, Grace Kiosoglous, Shreya Jain, Natasha Tsirelas, Sophie Gardiner, Kate McCorquadale, Sara Dorne, Kaitlyn Connolly, Ella Yaary and Pia O’Reilly.

Special acknowledgement of Charlotte Westaway, who was selected by the opposition as the game’s MVP. Many thanks to Henrik Steenberg, who coached the team this season.
