Student Awards/Certificates

Commendations:

Students may receive a commendation for anything that falls into the following categories:

• Academic/Quality work - improvement in neatness, achievement etc
• Catholic Principles and Values - things such as caring for environment, prayerfulness/reverence, service of others, ‘love thy neighbour’ etc
• Commitment to personal best - Improvement/effort in attentiveness, persevering with a task, 5 star work/neatness, getting ‘out of comfort zone’ in any way

Children will build up and receive different levels of awards as follows: 

3 commendations = Class Award 1

3 more commendations = Class Award 2

3 more commendations = Class Award 3

3 more = Leader of Learning Award

3 more = Assistant Principal Award

3 more = Principal Award

3 more = School Award

Children will also receive House points for each commendation and these will be added to the total score that goes towards the House trophy at the end of the year.
