2021 Swimming Carnival
Our annual school carnival was held on Thursday, 4 February 2021. With such fantastic weather, we had over 1000 students attend the day at Prairiewood Leisure Centre.
The day started off with each house expanding their energy with their war cries adhering to strict Covid regulations.
Hollows were the eventual winner, voted on by the life guard on duty and ex-student, Bianca Dempsey.
The day was then split where the seniors got to enjoy the Aquatopia water park and the junior students showed off their swimming skills in the water. After a 20 minute lunch break it was then the senior students' turn to show off their prowess in the water with the super-fish Brendan Prasad, Renaldo Ionita, Renae Prasad, Jasmin Quach and co race to see who would be crowned super-fish of the carnival.
A big thank you to everyone who competed. A huge thank you to Mr Peacock and his House Leadership team who had a number of games set up for the students to enjoy. It allows everyone, swimmers and non swimmers to feel a part of the carnival and to have some fun in the sun.
Overall results for the day were:
- Whitlam first on 221 points
- Chisholm second on 205 points
- Hollows third on 182 points
- coming in 4th on 116 points was Goolagong
A huge thank you to all staff including the office staff. Without your support, days like this cannot happen and be successful.
