This term the focus has been on Life and Living.
Our chickens are looking for carers during the holiday. If you are able to help out during the holiday break the girls would love your company. Alternatively, if anyone has an empty chicken coop at home and would like 3 egg-laying guests for the holiday break, please let Mrs Crouch know.
Please contact Mrs Crouch via email: sherryl.crouch@education.wa.edu.au if you are able to offer your help in any way.
Year 6 students have investigated moulds, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. They enjoyed extracting strawberry DNA. A special visit from our Scientists in Schools partner, Mr Darcy enabled them to gain the useful skill of soldering.
The Year 5 / 6 class enjoyed making models of different compounds.
Year 5 students have been studying plant and animal adaptations and investigated different beaks and feeding.
Year 4 students have continued their study of eucalypts and collected seeds in the hope of growing more trees for the school.
Year 3 students have been using their classifying skills.
Year 2 students have been growing bean seeds.
