From the Principals Desk

We have had a huge week with numerous concerts and special events. Our wonderful students have showcased their many talents from music to dancing to Grow the Burrendah Way Awards. I would like to acknowledge all of our fabulous staff and students who have worked so very hard to bring these multitudes of events to fruition.  I would like to thank how our parents/guardians are supporting the physical restrictions that we currently need to work under during such events.

Mr Bradshaw is currently putting together the videos from the EDU Dance Concert. The two concerts will be available on Connect before the end of the year. An email will be sent out when each concert is available for viewing.

Semester 2 Reports

Student Reports will be available from 3:00pm tomorrow, the 11th December via CONNECT. Please contact Reception on Monday if you have any problems accessing these reports. 

Open Classrooms

It was pleasing to see so many mums, dads, and grandparents at our Kindergarten and Pre-primary (Rooms 13, 14, and 15) open classrooms last week. I am not sure who was the proudest, the student, or their family! Wonderful work was enjoyed by all.

Brightpath

Burrendah Primary School was selected by Brightpath to showcase the new Mathematics Assessments. This program will be provided through the School Curriculum Standard Authority for all schools in 2021. The photos below were used as part of the brochure that was sent to all schools.

Thank You OSHClub

I would like to thank OSHClub for providing Out of Hours School Care for the last 18 months. Their lease with Burrendah Primary School expires on the 22nd January 2021.  Camp Australia will be Burrendah’s Out of Hours School Care provider for the next 2 years, commencing in Term1, 2021. Camp Australia was a recipient of the Winner for Business Innovation in The Australian Business Awards 2020.
