Specialist Program

Music- Justin Hall

Term 3, Music for Upper Primary section has seen students doing some music listening, some singing and exploring an online music making tool in the form of Beep Box.

Students have been given the opportunity to explore all kinds of musical ideas in a free music software which is browser based and is proven to be quite a powerful and fun music making tool for students to experiment with.

P.E- Hayley Northridge

This Term has been a difficult one, however the students have been fantastic and continued to show their skills while at home.

We have been meeting every week via Webex and participating in a range of games and activities. This has been great as we have been able to keep in contact while keeping active.

Well done to all students and I hope you enjoy a well deserved break.

Food Technology- Jane Stacey

Term 3 has seen many Upper Primary students continuing their Food Technology program at home. I have had the pleasure of seeing so many wonderful photos of students preparing muesli bars, quiches, bliss balls, scones, scrolls and treats for a special person...the list is endless! I have really enjoyed seeing how students are experimenting with the ways they prepare foods and making it their own.

Thank you to all the students who also came on to Webex over this Term to check in and have a chat about cooking! Well done everyone!

Visual Arts - Vera Mitchell

During Term three, we went back to remote learning and continued to explore the artist Paul Cezanne and his art works. Students were encouraged to engage and share their work via WebEx meetings. We looked at a range of activities where we needed to identify the difference between Landscape, Portraits and Still Life. Thank you to all the students who shared their work and to the parents who supported them.
