Cooking

We are very excited to be running cooking classes this year. Our focus is on cooking with produce that we have grown in our garden. Sheridan Leversha will be leading the program with Sara our gardener also involved. By working together they can plan for what to plant, when it will be ready to harvest and how it can be used in the cooking program.

This week Grade 4/5WP harvested potatoes, corn, tomatoes and some herbs and seeds to make wedges with flavoured salt and a fresh corn and tomato salsa.

Next week it will be Grade 4/5B's turn and they will also make wedges with salsa and flavoured salt. The multipurpose room smelt delicious and the wedges, salsa and flavourings were a big success.
