Hello, It's great to be back for another year of musical learning and fun!

I've popped this in to share some of the wonderful work that has already been happening during music time in the last two weeks. We've been focusing on our names, how they were chosen just for us, and how they're an important part of our identity. 

The Prep-3 classes have learned a new song called Your Name is a Song, if you're lucky your child might even sing it for you:

The 4-6 students have been introduced to Australian singer Budjerah, listening to and singing along with the soulful song 'My Name':

Students also created a poster of their names, some adding the meaning of their name, and some even writing their own song based around their name. The many posters are now proudly displayed on the library windows - drop by for a look!
