Hello, from Grade 2/3 M.B.

This Term we are exploring building social connections and developing the skills needed to cooperate and positively function in a collaborative environment. Below are just some of the opportunities that have been provided for the students to explore these skills.

Investigation Time

During investigation time Freya and I were writing a story about me and her as twins. (Zali)

I was making a marble track. (Lexi)

Mila and I were plaiting pipe cleaners for our spy kit. (Lilly)

I was playing a game where you have to slice kinetic sand as clean as possible. (Jack)

I was playing grid craft. (Reuben)

Odin and I were building a goldmine with a cabin. We worked on it very hard but we had some situations. We worked on it positively and it looked great. I love how it turned. (Isaac)

I was drawing snow leopards and some other leopards. (Annie)

I was making a long car out of long pieces of k'netix. It had wheels. (Cooper)

Odin, Kaeden, Lachy and I were playing dinosaurs together. We built a habitat then battled with the dinosaurs. (Kyaw Eh Man)

Indie, Mia, Raff, Reuben, Ellie and I were at the kinetic sand, sculpting shapes and mountains. (Kennedy)

Jack, Jordan and I were making a marble track where the marble jumped into the u shaped piece at the end. It was lots of fun. (Lexi)

I was building a mining cottage out of the big blocks. Squiddy was our boss. (Lachy B)
