Hello families, 

Another great week in PE and sport has been had.

Spotlight on PE Classes

We have had a great past week in year 4-6 with our specialised soccer coaches from Strike Soccer School.  Our coaches Hugo, a past professional Chilean player and Luke who currently plays high level soccer also.The students have been reviewing their dribbling, passing and kicking skills and have enjoyed some match play also. All great preparation for our Gala Days coming up. We look forward to seeing what they have in store for us next week.

Gala Day

You should have received an Operoo for both Gala Days scheduled this term for the year 4’s (Wednesday 8 March) and 5&6 day (Thursday 23rd March).  We look forward to having a day filled with sport.  If you can assist in any way, please let us know, the more help, the smoother the event runs.

District Swimming Carnival 

On Wednesday 1st March we had our first interschool sport event for the year and it was a fabulous day, despite the rain. The students as always did SJV so proud, it was so great watching them all give it 100%.

Thank you to all of the parents for giving up their time and helping with the students and the timing of the events, it was really appreciated.  Thank you to Mrs Feild for ensuring all of the students were at their events when they needed to be. 

Congratulations to the following students that have made it to the Division event, scheduled for next Thursday 9th March.  We wish them all the best.
