Congratulations to our week one Students of the Week.

Visual Arts - Spotlight on Learning: Week 6

This term we have been learning about the importance of teamwork. To start the year every child was read this quote ‘Working together, tiny stars light the universe. That’s the power of teamwork.’ Each child was given a star to decorate. It’s important to remember when creating artwork it’s a team effort (even if you do an individual piece) you still want someone to see it, comment on it, give you feedback and that is when teamwork comes into play. No matter how talented you think you are, when we join together as a team we can create something wonderful. Here’s a sneak peak of our combined effort. 

Learning Intention:

We are learning to create a collaborative (group) artwork

Success Criteria: 

I can follow instructions 

I can explain what a zentangle is

I can select a colour

I can use a fineliner to draw zentangles

I can use art supplies safely and respectfully
