A Walk in the Dark
Book by Jane Godwin

Five Year nine kids set out into the Otway Ranges on a school overnight hike. With no adults, they must make their own way back to school before midnight. Five enter the forest but will all make it out?

A book about friends, teamwork, independence and survival. Recommended for Years 7-10.
