'Tasmania Reads' and so do we!

STORIES FROM THE LIBRARY | A New Chapter

Tasmania Reads and so do we!

Here at John Paul II we love reading. We have purchased many new books over the last year and our students have enthusiastically read a wide range of fantastic titles. Fantasy and graphic novels have been particularly popular in the fiction section. Animal books are popular non-fiction reads. It is inspiring to see students all over our school enjoying reading and we are excitedly looking forward to moving into our architect designed new library later this year.

From March 5 to 11 all over Tasmania libraries, schools and communities will be celebrating Tasmania Reads. You can read more about this at

https://libraries.tas.gov.au/tasmania-reads/tasmania-reads/

To celebrate books, reading and storytelling, events are planned across Tasmania.

We encourage you to use this week to read some fantastic books with your families and

to continue doing so.

More information about the lifelong adventure of reading can be found in the

Tasmania Reads magazine available at
