Year 3/4–Celebrating Learning

In Year 3/4 mainstream, we have been focusing on setting up classroom routines and getting to know one another. Students have been developing their emotional literacy and learning about personal strengths. 

In Reading, we have been learning to use graphic organisers to communicate our thinking and practising the doubling convention when adding suffixes to base words. 

In Writing, we have been continuing on with the Writer’s Workshop, and practising our punctuation and adding detail to our writing. 

In Maths, we have been learning about measurement, specifically area, perimeter, volume and capacity.
