Wellbeing
Nutrition Australia has nominated this week as Healthy Lunchbox Week. They have created a range of healthy, cheap and tasty lunchbox recipes that can be made ahead ready to pop in the lunchbox on those busy weekday mornings. Click here for fun recipes to make with your child/ren.
On Monday we were both entertained and educated by the amazing interactive performers from Junkyard Beat. Students were fully engaged in the Junklandia show and workshops. They used recycled materials to make a sound while working together to learn about how we can collectively protect our wonderful earth.
Tuesday was Safer Internet Day. We celebrated this day with the students reinforcing this year's focus of Connect, Reflect & Protect, ourselves and each other. See attached poster and have a conversation about ways we apply these actions online.
