Bush Picnic & Dance Party

Let's celebrate our year together with a fantastic fun event for the whole school community.

Saturday, November 30th, 5:00 - 8:30 PM

The fun includes:

 

  • Live Bush Band
  • Twilight Disco and DJ
  • Competitions, Prizes and more!

 

Come dine under the stars and our famous oak trees. B.Y.O. a picnic dinner or choose to purchase a yummy Wood-Fired Pizza.

This is a school community event, and we also welcome extended family and friends.  Bring everyone along and join in the fun.

There will be lots to do as we celebrate another wonderful year at Ormond Primary.

Ticket prices are:

 

  • Family* $20
  • Single Adult $8
  • Single child $5

 

*Family ticket is for immediate family. Those wishing to bring extended family and friends, etc. (all very welcome) please purchase extra tickets for them.

Lending a hand with the end-of-year Bush Picnic and Dance Party would be a great way the round out 2013.

Lucky Jars

This is always a favourite amongst the children, so we thought it would be great to have a lucky jar stall at the end-of-year Bush Picnic and Dance Party. Your donations would be greatly appreciated.

We are calling every family to please make up a Lucky Jar or two. All you need to do is grab an ordinary jar (with label removed) and fill it with anything that would bring a smile to a child's face.

Some ideas are:

 

  • toy cars
  • pencils
  • balloons
  • balls
  • hair ties
  • clips
  • stickers
  • beads
  • tattoos
  • glitter
  • Lego
  • Erasers
  • Textas
  • jewellery
  • footy cards
  • party favours
  • stationary
  • toys
  • figurines
  • dominoes, or any other creative things you can think of.

 

The jars sell for $2.

Jars can be dropped off outside the hall every Monday morning or Friday after school. Collection boxes will also be in each classroom.

Parents & Friends Meeting

The next P&F meeting will be held on Wednesday 13th November at 7:30PM in the school staffroom.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
