Staff Professional Development Day- 13th February
The 13th February is a student free day and a Professional development day for staff. We tried to get this PD day on our foist days at school but our facilitator, Terri Campbell was unavailable.
Staff will be working with Terri throughout the year with a focus on 'Writing'.
Terri will be visiting our learning groups later in the year and working with our students as well.
Learning Centre Information Evenings
The Information evenings listed above are to be held in each Learning Centre and will be a chance to meet staff and be informed of introductory information for Term One and Term Two. Year Prep to Year 6 parents will also be required to sign ICT user agreements prior to students being able to use technology in Week Three 2019. The times are designed for parents to arrive 30 minutes prior to meet Learning Centre staff or stay for 30 minutes after the first session listed to talk with staff. We hope families will find attendance easy with 2 sessions on each evening.
Sacramental Passports for Sacramental Candidtates
Parents are aware of the dates advertised recently of the 2019 Sacramental Program of our school and St. Andrew's Parish. The dates are also listed on the Religion page of today's newsletter.
Father Albert has asked school to send the following letter to all families with regarding to preparing students to receive any sacrament from next year. The main feature of the letter from Father Albert is that each child will be required to attend 12 Parish masses on a weekly basis leading up to their receiving of a sacrament. Reconciliation will be shorter due to its March date.
