Science Day

Science Day 2019

Students & teachers enjoyed a fabulous day of science last Wednesday. In mixed aged Cooperative Learning groups students conducted experiments and investigated a range of science concepts.  The day culminated in a construction challenge to see who could build the tallest tower from a small range of materials.   Construction skills were in high demand as were the abilities to communicate and cooperate, plan and design and use time effectively.  

Well done to all groups who worked hard and showed terrific team work. Congratulations to the science cup winners who were able to construct a tower of 4.14m (up through the sky light in the BER building). Acknowledgement to all of our teachers and education support staff for their efforts in running such a worthwhile day for all students.
