What a term!

What an adventure this term has been!

Our first half of term was spent learning from home with the support of parents and carers. We have learnt new ways to not only connect, but learn and we should all be proud of what we achieved as a team. It wasn't easy at times to engage, but the resilience shown by both students and families was outstanding. It is certainly something we will never forget.

Returning to school and onsite learning was so exciting. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces entering school on our first day back. We certainly haven't taken it easy over the past few weeks. We have been revising what we learnt at home and engaging in new topics. I am beyond proud of how well Foundation settled back into school routines and expectations.

Our KPS Zoo Adventure

One highlight from the second half of term was our Zoo visit. Even though we didn't get to attend the Melbourne Zoo this term, it was such a fun experience to pretend that our school had been transformed into the KPS Zoo. Hopefully we will get to attend the Melbourne Zoo later in the year and we can compare which was better.

Cross Country

It was great to see the resilience shown by Foundation in their first ever cross country experience. Foundation were guided around one lap of the school, where they ran as fast as they could to complete it. They were so excited by the experience that most of Foundation wanted to complete a second lap. Each student should be proud of the effort they put in on the day.

Happy Holidays

After such a busy term, please make sure you take time to enjoy the break and stay warm during the holidays. We are looking forward to an exciting Term 3! Our 100 days of school is not far away, keep your eyes open for notices coming home.
