Congratulations

Congratulations to Jeremy Mann and Daniel Passante (Year 11) who competed in the VCAA PESA Public Speaking Competition on Monday at St Leonard’s College.

Jeremy spoke about Donald Trump’s successes as the US President, despite many obvious flaws and Daniel spoke about the need for change in the Victorian public health system.

Jeremy won this event – beating 9 other students – and is now going to compete in the Semi-Final at the Department of Education and Training in June.

Liam Higgins (Year 8) and James Donlon (Year 9) both competed for the first time in the Rostrum Public Speaking Competition at Mount Scopus Memorial College, Burwood.

They both delivered their prepared speeches well, despite some nerves, and are keen to participate in more events in the future.
