Best of luck to our Year 12 students

The culmination of thirteen years of schooling was reached on Wednesday as our Year 12's began their exam period with the three-hour English exam. Well done to every student who tried their best throughout the year!

The Year 12 exams have often acted as a signpost that the year is reaching it’s final weeks.

Year 11, 10 and 9 students

Our Year 11 students have one final written SAC before a week of exam revision. The process of revising content from throughout the year and writing practice pieces within timed conditions is one that all of our Year 11 English students should be taking themselves through.

It will be incredibly valuable to all of these students to see the exam process and how to best prepare themselves for the situation in 2017!

Further down the line, our Middle School students will also soon be preparing themselves for their end of year exams in November and December.

Reading Update

Year 8

Our Year 8 cohort are working with the novel Chinese Cinderella throughout this term. Parents are encouraged to discuss the novel with their children as a means to supporting the work they are completing in their English classes.

Students will sit a text response CAT later in the term that will require them to show their interpretation of the text.
