Children will be given a Hot Dog and a drink for lunch.

Children may wear casual clothes but are encouraged to wear their footy colours and bring a gold coin donation. These donations will be sent to the “Fight Cancer Foundation”

to support children with cancer.

Students will be dismissed at 2:25pm

SCHOOL HATS

Children are now required to wear their hats at school.

They must leave their hats on the hooks at school at the end of each day.  If hats are not brought to school, children will be required

 to play in the shade.

ALL HATS NEED TO BE CLEARLY LABELLED.

WE ARE  SUNSMART

When it comes to using sun protection, temperature isn't a good guide. You can’t see or feel UV but UV is the part of the sun that can damage skin and eyes and lead to skin cancer. SunSmart advises that Victoria’s UV levels start to rise from mid-August.

Please remind your child to pack their hat. For SunSmart information visit https://www.sunsmart.com.au/communities/parents

'YONG' PERFORMANCE AT COPACC

Today our Years 5 & 6 classes will be traveling by bus to COPACC to see the performance of 'Yong: the journey of an unworthy son'.

We look forward to seeing the novel, that has been read in the Yr. 5 classes, being brought to life on stage as Yong takes us on a journey across land and sea from a small village in China to the Goldfields of Ballarat where Yong's father hopes to find his fortune.

This play fits so well with the work the Yr. 5 classes completed last term in their History inquiry and the current Yr. 6 inquiry on Immigration.

A couple of weeks back the Yr. 5 classes were lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Alex from Monkey Baa theatre company in a pre-performance workshop and now they will be in the audience and watching this Monkey Baa production!

The buses will depart school at 9:45am and return in time for recess.

UNIFORM SHOP WILL BE OPEN ON FRIDAY'S BY AN APPOINTMENT

Please call our office at anytime to schedule an appointment on a Friday during Uniform shop hours. If you are unable to attend on uniform day, Richelle will still be available to take your orders by phoning on a Friday during our Uniform shop hours which are 10am - 12noon.  From there you will place your order and payment will be made at that time. All orders will be packed and sent home each Friday with your child.

Alternatively, you can download the order form from our website or your PAM account via ‘knowledge bank’.  Complete the form and send it with the correct money with your child or phone for payment on Friday.

If sizing is an issue, you are able to send clothing back (still with tags) and it will be swapped over for you...children are unable to be called up to office to be sized for clothing without a parent/guardian in attendance.

We thank you for your cooperation.
