Determined Award - for showing so much determination when summarising a novel. You got stuck a few times, but you kept going and asked lots of questions to help you. I’m proud of you for not giving up and challenging yourself.

Lucia is currently completing a reading reflection and has been asking focused questions and revising and editing her work to make sure it’s perfect. Curious Award - Always asking great questions and being so focused on your colour tasks. I was impressed this week with how quickly you got to work on your rainbow maze and colour drawing activities. It’s fabulous to hear each week about how much you love finding out about colours! Well done Preps!

Showing wonderful and impressive  creativity and imagination during our session on how caterpillars grow. You followed instructions carefully, and came up with imaginative and original responses and ideas to create a card that showed a caterpillar growing.

Respectful Award - During our police liaison visit you showed your strengths as a respectful listener and learner. You participated in the discussion with some fantastic responses and listened to others with patience and respect. You consistently show respect in our school when speaking with students and staff. Responsible Award - for showing so much responsibility for your learning. You have been so focused and enthusiastic, especially in Maths. You have been learning to tell the time and how to multiply and divide like an absolute champion. I am so proud of you. Keep it up, Harry.

Respectful Award - For your fantastic listening skills, both in a small group and as a whole class. You never talk over anyone and always respond to students ideas and opinions in a respectful manner. You also show a great deal of respect to the space that you work in. Curious Award - For your brillant Mid-Autumn Festival menus. I was impressed not only with your canva skills but your intrigue about popular Chinese dishes such as chicken feet, deep fried ice-cream and moon cakes. We had a lot of interesting discussions about the origins of different dishes from around the world and how most of them were actually from China. Well done!
