Subway Day - Elliot

I love being an SRC as I can express creative and fun ideas like Subway Day. I thought that Subway Day would be a great idea as people who love Subway can enjoy a nice sandwich followed by a crispy cookie and an ice cold drink of their choice. On the day the food was absolutely fantastic. Everyone who ordered was greeted with their food and drinks and loved it so much. This is one of my best ideas yet and I hope that we will do it next year too. - Elliot

Uniforms

As a SRC, we help out in different ways including sorting out the School Uniforms. We sort both the Winter uniforms, Summer uniforms and everything in between. We do lots of recycling and donate clothes to people who may need them. As SRC members, we like to think about our community and take care of the people in our community.  - Tommy

Footy day

Here at Saint Joseph's Northcote we have one day a year generally 2 weeks until the AFL

finals where you can dress up in your favourite sporting team uniform for the entirety of the day. Everyone can showcase their love for sport and for their team. A big thank you to our Grade 5 SRC representative, Elliot Becroft for bringing back the idea at one of our SRC meetings. It was a great experience for us all.

Icy poles

This year at St Joseph's all of our SCR representatives made the decision to bring zooper dooper icy poles back. We sell the icy poles for 50 cents during the hotter terms, Term 1 and Term 4. We are bringing them back in Term 4 and very excited! Make sure you bring your money on the icy pole days! We will keep you updated later in the year about the dates. When we sell the zooper doopers we have a special soft plastic bin for all the Zooper Dooper wrapers so that our school environment is as clean as possible.
