Interview with Nick Arnold

 Year 6 Teacher

How long have you worked at BNPS?

This is my 12th year of teaching at BNPS. I’ve taught grades 2, 4, 5 & 6.

Who  inspires you?

My 2 kids. Seeing life through their eyes and the amazement and joy they get from small events is the best.

What is your favourite thing to do on weekends?

Exercising, bike rides with the family and going to the beach.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

Definitely an early bird.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

I love to travel and visit different countries. I once did a Bungee Jump into the Batoka Gorge at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. That was pretty scary!

What recently made you smile?

The sunshine and warmer weather over the past few weekends. It definitely puts a smile on the face knowing that summer is around the corner.

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose ?

A surfer on the World Tour. Someone who gets to chase the waves and sunshine for a living.

What would you like to say to your students?

You have all grown so much this year and shone as leaders of the school. Enjoy these final terms of Year 6, they will go so quickly. It’s a pleasure to teach you each day and I wish you all the best for your future schooling after you leave B.N.P.S.
